The Stroud Kings and Queens theatre group was launched in 2010. Its main aim is to enable adults with learning disabilities to access high quality drama tuition as well as meeting new people and performing in annual shows. With over 40 regular members the group continues to grow year on year.
The Group meet every Friday evening from 7.00-9.00 pm, at every session we introduce new drama skills; previous lessons have included - mask work, improvisation, stage combat, realism, comedic acting and many more.
In October of every year the group all pull together and produce an annual performance in a local theatre to show to family and friends. Previous productions have included Grease, Scooby Doo the musical and Romeo and Juliet.
